For Real! This Is Why Tonto Dikeh Was Envious Of Mercy Johnson

12 Beliefs Holding You Back From Honouring Your Life’s True Calling!

In 2017, Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh made headlines when she reconciled with her colleague, Mercy Johnson.

For years, Tonto had hurled insults at Mercy and even claimed that she was broke when the actress returned to acting shortly after the birth of her first child, Purity.

Shortly after Tonto put to birth, she decided to reconcile with Mercy, asking for her forgiveness as she realized her faults since she had her own son. Moreover, she confessed that her life changed since she found God.

Few days ago, Tonto Dikeh revealed why she used to be so resentful of Mercy. According to her, she was envious of Mercy because she wanted to be like her as she thought that she was the only one who could act better than her in the Nigerian movie industry.

Upon realizing that it was better to be herself, she stopped desiring to be like Mercy.

Sharing a throwback photo of them together, Tonto wrote,
