Once in four years, Nigerians are given the opportunity to vote in who they want as their leader. But the reality is that whether their preferred candidate wins or not, they are not sure if positive changes will happen.
Through the short film, My MFON, actress, Osas Ighodaro tells the narrative of what an average citizen may have to go through in a developing country and the realities of general elections.
While people are ready for true change and express their powers through their voter’s card, many are lost on who to vote for.
My MFON is a single character story played by Osas who is Sola Bassey in the short film. She reminisces on her marital journey and her hopes of having a better life, which is supposed to come with a new government.
This short film is so brilliant and Osas played her role so well, especially as it involved her speaking pidgin throughout the almost 8 minutes video.
