Few days ago, a video of a Nigerian woman begging for money on the streets of Canada surfaced online. The woman who is unemployed, confessed to receiving welfare from the Government of Canada, but she says the welfare is to too small to take care of her and her son.
The video was recorded by an American man who seems really pissed that Nigerians are coming to Canada instead of developing their own country. He interrogated the woman harshly and when the woman called him brother, he was quick to say “I am not your brother, I am American”
Nigerians have mixed feelings about this video, while some have pity for the woman, many believe the man was being racist. Watch the video below and let us know what you think.
