Woman Remanded In Prison For Killing Her Mother In-Law With Hot Water And Pepper

Mrs Rebecca Oladosu has died after her daughter in-law, Taye Lamidi allegedly connived with another woman to pour hot water mixed with pepper on  her.

Punch reported that, as a result of the attack, which happened on October 30, 2018 in Olorunda Local Government Area of Osun State, Mrs Rebecca was hospitalized and sadly died in January this year.

While Taye and her partner have been previously arraigned on charges of assault, it was struck out by the court when they learnt of the death of Mrs. Rebecca.

Taye and her partner were charged with felony and murder. Due to the nature of their offense, the women have been remanded in prison until March 21, 2019, when the matter was adjourned for hearing.
