“The misconception is that people with a disability needs help and that’s not always the case,” Janet Brown, an Uber driver mum without hands said.

Although born with a rare birth defect that has resulted in her having no hands, Janet said she is not always helpless as people believe.

The 31-year old mother of two didn’t let her condition stop her and even became an Uber and Lyft driver.

“There is no everyday task that I can’t do – my condition doesn’t stop me from doing anything,” she said.
