Singer Simi doesn’t think that the problem with Nigeria is its government alone. In a series of tweets, she mentioned that we are also a huge contributor to the ills happening in Nigeria today.

Having leaders who promise heaven and earth and not fulfilling their mandate is annoying but more annoying is the fact that we fight against each other for these leaders rather than join hands together and speak against their leadership.

Noting this, Simi says its time for a change.

Read her tweets below

Nigeria is a fucking scary place to be. The worst part is a lot of crazy stuff happens because they KNOW there will be no consequences. It’s not rocket science. But how do we get from where we are to where we need to be?? + it’s not just the government, it’s us too.
