Nnenna Ugwu-Okoturo (aka Nnennaya Kelly) is a well-accomplished woman at the top of the game in her corporate field. She studied and graduated in 1996 from a private university in Washington DC – the Catholic University of America, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree with honours in Human Resources Management.
In 1997 she graduated from the London School of Economics, one of the world’s top universities and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Information Systems Development.
For over 20 years and after her graduation Nnenna has been working for several global blue-chip companies like EY, Accenture, Unilever, several investment banks and other industry sectors as an Independent Human Resources Information Systems consultant for over 20 years.
On top of her extremely busy career life, she started a charity – Venerable Sydney Children’s Wellness Center – to build a children’s hospital in Africa. Her love and passion for children are the drives for this initiative.
In addition to her brilliant career and charity work, Nnenna Okoturo known as Nnennaya Kelly is an upcoming new Music Artist who began her exciting musical voyage of artistic discovery in 2021.
Although Nnennaya Kelly has been singing since she was 7 years old, she has taken a bold step to reactivate her talent and take it by storm!
Since 2021, she has used constant collaboration and experimental sound exploration to shape the signature sound that echoes with her inspiration from the streets of everywhere she has been from Detroit, MI to Lagos, Nigeria to Washington DC to London and so many more places!
Nnennaya Kelly is using her strategic corporate experience and love of children’s charity to blend in her music journey to enhance her ability to maintain and attract all music lovers from young to old!
She has a new EP coming out in early 2023. In one of the songs, she is performing with young Temilayo the saxophonist. Song was co-produced by Burna Boy’s drummer Emmanuel – Touch Mark records.
All her songs are about encouraging children and young people.
She will also be performing with Afro-Beat dancers from an African Orphanage. Some of the proceeds from her music will also go to charity.
